As someone who is always looking to have more fun in the kitchen and deepen my local food connections, I feel so lucky to have attended a series of Put-Ups! Gathering with a group of curious and capable people, learning new and delicious food-saving techniques, and working with produce pulled from the earth that morning was a uniquely powerful experience. Kaycee and Miriam patiently answered questions, guided our work, and created an atmosphere of fun while we chopped, stirred, poured, and boiled. Put-Ups gave me the confidence to can while providing new and rich connections to my community. Thanks to Put-Ups, I continue to enjoy the bounty of the Hudson Valley from the shelves of my pantry!
